Project note

- Project note  |

In the era of Corona, where we have to communicate separately and together online and offline, the team tried to capture the essence of 'conversation'. From the beginning, we would like to create an AI chatbot system that could share conversations and the stresses and wishes behind them. The closer we got to the essence of the conversations, the more the exhibition space had its own meaning, which means a 'journey towards inner message'.

After that, the question we faced was ‘how to express the journey to have a conversation with the AI chatbot?’. After much deliberation, the key I found was to observe the conversation. In this process, we tried to imitate the four AI concepts of categorization, classification, machine learning, and collaborative filtering as much as possible on a human level. We tried to mimic an AI that is systemized by humans. The result of observation is the word of identity. In a conversation, conscious, unconscious, and subconscious are mixed, and this is also the identity of the speaker. Then, the conversation can be an exchange of identity. Hence, the AI chatbot consists of questions about identity, and the exhibition space becomes a journey to have a conversation about identity.
